It’s no secret that we’re fascinated by celebrities and their beauty routines. With their perennially glossy locks, glowing skin, and goddess-like bods, we would love to be a fly on the wall and observe all of their mysterious age-/gravity-/bad hair–defying ways. And while a few of their tips and tricks, like drinking tons of water, staying active, and eating healthy, are fairly predictable, some of their rituals are downright weird.

So what’s the model’s secret to that gorgeous head of hair? Soda—Coca-Cola to be exact. Yep, we were confused too, but according to Us Weekly, the London-born beauty rinses with the iconic drink to give her fine, limp hair added oomph. The result (or so she claims)? The perfectly tousled, not-too-perfect tresses we’ve always longed for. Hmm…
By now we know that coconut oil makes an amazingly moisture-rich hair mask, but according to the singer, olive oil has the same (if not superior) hydrating and shine-inducing effects. For best results, let the oil saturate your strands overnight—just make sure to wear something around your head as a barrier from your pillowcase.
