"When I'm travelling on a short trip or even will be out for the night or day, I load up my brushes with extra bronzer and blush so I don't have to carry my compacts with me. Then I just apply more gently than usual. It's makes travelling light much simpler. A retractable brush or a plastic bag are good to use, to prevent your blush from getting everywhere."

"Other than keeping my makeup minimal before a flight (especially an international one), I'll put a dollop of face cream and eye cream in either small, travel-sized containers you can pick up in the dollar store, or even in my contact lens cases (not the one I use for my actual contacts, obviously). That way, I won't have to separate them from the rest of my toiletries, and I can still utilise their benefits. I'll use a makeup wipe to clean my face before landing, then massage in some moisturizer and SPF, as well as pat in some eye cream to hide any puffiness."

"I picked this tip up from a friend and it’s a little embarrassing, but it’s never failed me. Before I get on an aeroplane, I apply a thin layer of Vaseline around (ok, basically inside) each nostril. Supposedly it catches the germs to keep you healthy. Sounds strange, but I’ve never gotten sick after travelling."
