Watch Miranda Kerr Freak Out As She Gets Her Hair Cut Short

Lisa Patulny

Miranda Kerr, known not only for her holistic approach to wellness and beauty but for her perennially polished waves, has finally hopped aboard the lob train. In a recent video filmed for Harper's Bazaar, celebrity stylist David Keough (who Kerr reveals has been cutting her hair since she was 15) was tasked with the chop, and may we say, it's really good. The collarbone-length style mixes Kerr's trademark elegance with the right amount of casual flippiness for a perfect update on her usual long lengths. Behold.

In the video Kerr is relatable as she has a mild freak out while Keough does his thing. Proving that supermodels are just like us (sometimes) she explains: "I really wanted to chop [my hair] short, but I kind of chickened out. So today because you're here, I'm not going to be able to chicken out." Once the cutting begins, Kerr utters a few things we've definitely heard escape our own lips mid-chop: "I'm scared David," and "Is it too short?", as well as our favourite, "Look at all my hair on the ground. Whoa. Whoa David, that's a really long chunk, where did that come from?" The result is, of course, lovely. Want to see for yourself? Keep scrolling to watch the video!

Do you have a lob? Take a note from Keough and add a light wave and some texture with dry spray wax, like Evo's Shebang-A-Bang, $30, to keep it looking chic.
