This Affordable Makeup Brand Is Tricky to Pronounce but Easy to Love
One of the greatest joys in a beauty addict’s life is discovering new brands that are friendly on the purse strings but don’t compromise results. There’s just something about budget beauty that leaves you feeling as if you’ve had a major win at life. And the internet is one of the greatest treasure troves for economical beauty buys, and our latest obsession is a European brand that you can shop on ASOS. We’re talking about 3ina.
From fluorescent cream eyeshadow to fixing spray, 3ina is made in Europe but sold online (and they now have two stores open in Melbourne). The range is all about bright, punchy pigments, is mostly vegan (there’s beeswax in the lippies), and isn’t tested on animals. (This editor even found her staple Rosie Huntington-Whiteley–inspired nude lipstick in shade 401, if anyone is interested.) 3ina’s products start at around the $8 mark for certain skincare, and stretches to $26 for vintage-style illuminating pearls. But our pick of the crop is a $14 mascara that we can (only just) not live without. And if you’re staring at the name thinking, “what the heck?”, it’s pronounced “mee-nah”.

3ina The Lengthening Mascara ($14)
Mascara is a mainstay in most peoples beauty kit because long, Bambi-like lashes are always a win. 3ina’s Lengthening Mascara is designed to give you long, lean eyelashes without flaking off at midday. The brush is thin enough to get right into the corners, and at $14, you’ll have spare change to grab one of the coloured versions for the weekend, too.
