Meghan Markle's Wedding Beauty Look Is Set to Be Copied the World Over
After months of speculation Meghan Markle married Prince Harry today in a simply stunning gown by Givenchy designer Claire Waight Keller. But for us beauty-obsessives on team Byrdie it was the beauty look that caught our eagle eyes. Markle opted for an up 'do—a sweeping centre part and low slung bun. Her effortlessly beautiful hairstyle was adorned with a hefty tiara that looked modern, despite it most probably being a royal heirloom, and a long sweeping veil.
Just recently Markle's longtime makeup artist, Lydia Sellers, told us the products she uses on the regular. And looking at the bride's glowing complexion, signature soft smoky eye and nude lip she most likely drew on the staple products she often relies on. It's said on your wedding day you want to look the best version of yourself and also feel at your most comfortable, so why not look to the staple products you rely on to get you through every other day?
Among Markle's go-to products are Giorgio Armani Beauty Luminous Silk Foundation in 3.5 ($99), RMS Beauty Living Luminizer in Magic ($55), which we're pretty sure is giving Markle that gorgeous glow, as well as MAC Cosmetics Eye Kohl in Teddy ($35) for that subtle smoky eye.
In fact, Markle's wedding day look isn't a million miles away from Kate Middleton's makeup back in 2011.
