I Tried Maybelline's Temporary Brow Tint, and This Is What Happened
I have long toyed with the idea of tattooing my brows (I'm actually trying another temporary brow tattoo technique in the coming weeks, so watch this space). The one thing though that has always stopped me is fear. Fear that I'll look at my reflection and see less-Cara Delevingne, more caterpillar-style eyebrows staring back at me (not ideal). So when I spied an ad on television for the new Maybelline Three-Day Brow Tattoo, I was intrigued. The ad played four times throughout the remainder of The Bachelorette, so I took it as a sign and grabbed it straight from the Byrdie Australia beauty cupboard the following morning.
I set off home, removed my makeup, and got to work. All you really do is paint it on and wait, and naturally, I took some photos to document the process. The end result? It kinda blew my mind.

Aside from looking like a character straight out of The Muppets, my application was a cinch. Just paint the entirety of your brows with the little paintbrush and wait it out (20 minutes is recommended). To remove, you literally just peel it off. It turns to a rubbery consistency, so getting it all off in one go is quite easy.
Here you go—me at seven a.m. the next morning with zero brow product on. Zero. I'm pretty impressed. They look fuller, fluffier, and my pesky bald patch is much less visible. They are darker than I'm used to, and I might opt for the lighter shade next time, but I think it's fair to say the results speak for themselves. Also, the tint was completely gone after four days. Verdict? I'll definitely use this again. (For anyone wondering, my mascara is Too Faced Better Than Sex, and no I don't have lash extensions, it is just the best mascara ever).
So yes, peel-off eyebrow tint works.
