How to Get Rid of Split Ends—No Haircut Required

Allie Flinn

After you get a trim, there’s a brief grace period of bouncy, split-end-free hair, but like all good things, it comes to an end. No matter how well you condition your locks, split ends are inevitable, thanks to the damaging heat tools, brushing, and colouring we subject our hair to. You don't need a fancy hair mask or serum to do it. We caught up with stylists Jesse Montana, Alessanda Saman, and Melissa Brown of Mèche Salon in Beverly Hills to nab their favourite split end-banishing treatments, which can all be whipped up in the kitchen.
