Desert Island Beauty, Kardashian Style
“Can I bring pills on this journey? If so, I would bring collagen pills!” says Khloe. “They’re for hair, skin, nails, and anti-ageing.” She doesn’t stay loyal to a particular brand, but you can try Neocell’s Super Collagen + C ($25).
“I would bring ghee butter with me,” says Kourtney. “It’s a form of clarified butter that moisturizes your skin, your hair, and all your body parts from the inside out. I take one melted tablespoon every morning.” Her sister’s opinion? “I’ve tried it—yuck!” Khloe says. “Yeah, it’s not good, but you can cook with it instead!” Kourtney says. Try Purity Farm’s Organic Ghee Butter ($6).
To keep her skin hydrated on our fictional desert island, Khloe would pack her go-to night cream: Crème de la Mer’s Moisturizing Soft Cream ($155). “It’s expensive, but you only use a dab because it’s really heavy,” she says. “I have been using this for about seven years, it keeps me youthful and gorgeous.”
“I am obsessed with coconut oil, it’s made my hair amazing,” says Khloe. “I massage it into my scalp, leave it in for an hour, then wash it out. Or I’ll leave it in overnight with a bandana so it doesn’t get on my sheets. It’s made my hair grow much faster!” Try Spectrum Naturals’ Organic Coconut Oil ($10).
Surprise! The Kardashians are big fans of contour. So of course their cosmetic line has a bronzing palette. “I use our Endless Summer Matte Bronzer ($15) every single day—it’s everything,” Kourtney says. “I mix all three colours to do my face, then I use the darkest one for contour, and the lighter one to highlight.”
Post-coconut oil, Khloe styles her hair with Moroccan Oil’s classic Treatment Oil ($43). “It just smells so good!” she says.
