French-Girl Beauty: Camille Rowe Is Stunning in Dior’s Latest Campaign

Lisa Patulny

We've been waiting patiently for Dior's fresh new fragrance, Poison Girl, to hit shelves locally (FYI that date is 29 February—mark your calendar), but the fashion house is not making it easy on us in the interim. First, Camille Rowe was named as face of the perfume. Then, we were gifted with this blink-and-you'll-miss-it clip of the French-American model stalking through a an epic party. Next, Rowe posted a snap of this Pink Ladies-esque bomber which had us considering Grease as a legit source of style inspiration. Finally, the full TVC was released (watch it here), which only made us even more desperate to get our mitts on Poison Girl. Yep, the wanting is bad. Just look at the pretty little bottle.

To our delight, Dior has released an exclusive interview with Rowe to tide us over. In it, she takes us behind-the-scenes of the filming of the TVC at the Boom Boom Room in N.Y.C. Ironically, in the video the model shares that she is "such a grandmother" who both goes to bed and wakes up early. Maybe we should be, but we're not surprised. (Have you seen her skin? Girl gets her beauty sleep.) Click below to see the interview.

In the video, Rowe describes the new perfume like this: "It's young and it's sexy; flirty and fun." Composed by master perfumer Francois Demachy (who has a casual 100+ couture fragrances to his name), the juice is a sultry blend of Sicilian bitter orange, rose, tonka bean and vanilla. If you ask us, February 29 can't come fast enough.

If you prefer a darker, spicier scent, try the original Poison, ($198).
