Could You Handle Bella Hadid's Workout Regimen?

Lindsey Metrus

Bella Hadid is a bit of a fitness enigma: Scrolling though her Instagram page, you won't find a barrage of gym snaps or fitness Boomerangs—no, the lithe model claims she's "not really big on exercising," despite her svelte figure and new role as Nike's spokesmodel. Because of her Lyme disease, Hadid strays from strenuous regimens. "My body can’t handle aggressive workouts,"she tells The Coveteur. "[For me] it’s more about being the best I can be, not about losing weight. [Weight loss] comes naturally, but it is about being fit and feeling strong. When I wake up in the morning and I don’t feel strong, I feel like I shouldn’t even get out of bed." If the thought of Bella Hadid not being a fan of working out induced an eye roll, hang on a second—just recently, she's also said that she prefers an intense gym session: "When I work out, I love to work out," she tells E! News. "I train and I work out hard for two hours. I don't like to do the whole yoga thing. I think yoga is calming and it's amazing, but if I am going to go for it I am going to go hard." Hmmm.

Despite her opposing statements, we're willing to bet her chiselled abs aren't a result of being a stranger to the gym. Perhaps she was being modest about the hard work she puts in, but to that we say, Own it. Because we're realists (and because we have receipts), we put together Bella's favourite workout moves for you below. Ain't no shame, Bella, do your thing.
