The Rain-Proof Workout You Can Do in Your Lounge Room
We can often be found scrolling through Who What Wear contributor Hermione Underwood’s Instagram when we’re feeling wanderlust-y. The influencer has crossed the globe more times than we can count, and we admire her ability to always travel in style. However, until this week, we’d never given much thought to how she keeps in shape whilst globetrotting. (A difficult feat when you're sampling gelato in Italy...and Monaco on the reg.)
According to Underwood, her personal trainer Ben Lucas of Sydney's Flow Athletic devised a travel-friendly program of compound movements she can do sans equipment. This not only makes it perfect for executing on the road, but it also means you don’t need a gym membership to do it at home. (Because who likes running in the rain? Not us.) Based on a less-is-more philosophy, this metabolism-boosting circuit is a respectable 30-minutes long.
To complete the circuit, you'll need to perform each of the 9 movements back to back with work periods of 45 seconds, followed by 15 seconds of rest. Complete the entire circuit once (so all 9 exercises) then rest for 1 minute. Repeat for 3 laps of the circuit. Grab your water bottle, then keep scrolling for the rain-proof workout you can do in your lounge room. (Netflix, optional.)
