How to Pull Off This Oh-So-Pretty Side Sweep
Taking the plunge and chopping a fringe you can’t take back can sometimes be too much for commitment-phobes. This heavy yet soft side-sweeping fringe is the perfect alternative—it’s all of the look, yet none of the growing pains.
Taking cues from the international runway (Michael Kors S/S 16), Kms hairstylist Shelley Young from Shelley and Co created this side-sweeping fringe to complement the clothes at the University of Technology Sydney’s graduate show last night.
Adding drama and romance to your ponytail is this easy. Keep scrolling for a step-by-step on how to get the look.
The Kms hairstyling team added a rough, romantic addition to a low pony by parting the hair down the middle and leaving a front, left section out. Then, using Kms Hair Play Makeover Spray ($25) to texturise the sweeping section and give it bulk, secured roughly behind the right ear and spritzed with Hair Stay Medium Hold Hair Spray ($19) to keep the "fringe" in shape.
