Why This Unique Hair Brush Sold Out in Just Three Days
I'm the first to admit I love beauty gadgets. I'm insanely loyal to both Clarisonic and Foreo, and you'll pry my beloved Ghd tong from my cold, dead hands. That said, I am hugely skeptical of hair gizmos that promise smooth strands with minimal effort. I hate blow-drying my hair as much as the next girl, but I've never met an appliance (excluding straightening irons, of course) that could do the job as well. Having read the title of this post, you might suspect that's all about to change. Spoiler: You're right.
Meet Silver Bullet's genius Hybrid Ionic Straightening Brush aka the lazy-girl solution to bad hair days. This clever hair tool recently landed in Australia and proceeded to blow a LOT of minds. In fact, it sold out in just three days. Three! (If that doesn't impress you, you're even more skeptical than I.) Now back in stock, it's billed as the first pro "straightening brush" with a built-in ionic generator. Essentially, the brush has a ceramic surface underneath the bristles that heats up, smoothing hair as you brush. To use it, section dry hair as you would when blow-drying, then run the brush through each chunk once or twice. The finish is closer to blow-dried, rather than straightened hair, in that you don't get a pin-straight result. For women with fine-to-medium hair, I can't recommend it highly enough. Beats wrangling a hair-dryer for half an hour, any day. I can't speak to its effects on thick or really curly hair, but if you consider that you're only getting one heated surface (as opposed to two with a standard straightening iron ) you might be better off sticking with your straightener.
