Even Rosie Huntington-Whiteley Has Skin Issues
While we sometimes have to remind ourselves that Rosie Huntington-Whiteley is, in fact, a human being (and not a unicorn), the fact is that even she is susceptible to a finicky complexion. In an exclusive interview with The Thick, the model/actress chats about her "no-nonsense" skincare routine with aesthetician Shani Darden.
"A lot of people don’t know this, but I’m not someone who has perfect skin all the time," she reveals. "I have to be really diligent."
Huntington-Whiteley eventually settled on Darden (who also works with Jessica Alba and Chrissy Teigen) as her go-to facialist after seeing how beautiful her skin was in person (which, by the way, is a great strategy for scouting out any kind of beauty professional).
"You have a no nonsense attitude towards skin that I really like," Huntington-Whiteley says. "It’s drama-free, there’s no hocus-pocus. As a client, I want the skin of whomever I’m working with. When I saw yours I realised you know what you’re talking about."
In addition to daily SPF use, Huntington-Whiteley names Darden's Retinol Reform as her holy grail product, which we can appreciate because even if she says she has to be religious with her regimen, it's clearly working.
