The $5 Anti-Ageing Secret Pamela Anderson Swears By
Guys, have you seen Pamela Anderson lately? I have, and let me tell you, the ex-Baywatch babe is looking incredible. (Is it just me or is she ageing backwards?) The actress, model and animal rights advocate is almost 50 years old, and yet her enviable figure and glowy skin don't seem to have aged a day. While I'm not saying Pammie hasn't had a little help in the beauty department—although I'm not confirming it either—I am saying that regardless of her current routine, she looks radiant, healthy and happy. One of my favourite things about Anderson has always been her honesty around everything from her vegan lifestyle, to her, erm, enhancements. For instance, when W Magazine asked her recently whether she had any beauty-related regrets, Pammie reportedly rolled her eyes down towards her chest and quipped, "Not that we need to point it out." Her refreshing attitude to life doesn't end there. Keep reading for the PETA pin-ups thoughts on everything from the all-purpose beauty product she can't live without (spoiler: it's coconut oil), to ageing in reverse.

ON: HER BAYWATCH MAKEUP LOOK
"The first season, they didn't want me to wear makeup, they wanted me to be very natural. I said okay, but then I would go to Lexi's [makeup artist Alexis Vogel] at three in the morning and she would put eyelashes and liner on me. Then I would show up and they'd go, 'You're already wearing makeup!' and I'd say, 'No I'm not!' But then I'd get hit by a wave and my eyelashes would fall off." —Harper's Bazaar
ON: NO-MAKEUP MAKEUP
"Natural beauty takes at least two hours." —Alexis Vogel
ON: BEING HAPPY
"I know it sounds like a cliché, but happiness has a lot to do with beauty. Calm, peacefulness and not-constant stress are very, very important to feeling beautiful and confident. And that comes across whether you’re wearing makeup or not." —W Magazine
ON: COCONUT OIL
"I think it's really good for your skin, good for your hair, good for everything, from the inside out. And I just use coconut oil that you buy at the store to cook with, and I leave it in the shower or I soak [in] it when I'm in the bathtub. I'll use it as moisturiser for my face, my body, my hair, everything." —Harper's Bazaar
Try: Melrose Organic Refined Coconut Oil ($5).
ON: VEGAN BEAUTY IDEALS
"No one's to judge what's in fashion, but compassion is in fashion and it's sexy. There's this image that if you're vegan, you don't wear any makeup, you know, like [a] flower child, and that's pretty too, but some women want to be glamorous." —Harper's Bazaar
"I actually like ageing. I have great older female role models in my life, including my amazing mum, who have glitz, glamour, and all sorts of fun. Getting older isn’t the end." —W Magazine
