Products I swore by in my twenties. "I used Noxzema and Olay Active Hydrating Beauty Fluid Lotion. I grew up in Texas where it is hot and humid. Using Noxzema was always refreshing and left my skin feeling clean."
Treatments I gave a try. "Six years ago I started getting a facial every month. I started Botox at 41, and go about every 3 to 4 months. I’ve tried Althura for my neck, and It worked great! I look forward to going back because I saw a big difference."
Biggest skin care regret."That I didn’t begin a regimen earlier and I never thought about wearing sunscreen regularly or caring for my neck."

Products I swore by in my twenties. "I got ahead of the anti-ageing game by becoming devoted to SkinCeuticals in my twenties. I used the entire range of the products from C E Ferulic ($214) to their tinted sunscreen. I also really got into BB creams when they surfaced in my late 20s. They were the ultimate busy girl solution because they took care of everything at once: foundation-like coverage, hydration, and all-important sunscreen.
I also loved (and still love) Tata Harper moisturisers. The Rebuilding Moisturizer ($130) is actually the first product I remember using to the end and being sad about it. it goes on so silky smooth and the hydration lasts all day."
Treatments I gave a try. "I had occasional facials but nothing made a difference like the VibraDermabrasion facial I got a Tribeca MedSpa. My skin glowed for days (in that I-can't-stop-staring-at-it way). In fact, it's been almost 5 years since I got the treatment and I still think about it!"
Biggest skin care regret. "I think I used really harsh products on my skin in my early 20s because I was still battling acne. It's all good now, but back then I subscribed to the no-pain-no-gain school of skincare which isn't true. Now I'm all about gentle products that don't make my skin angry."

Products I swore by in my twenties. "I got an early start. I'm so glad I never bought into the "black don't crack" myth. I mean, it's true that black skin ages differently and sometimes slower, but I tend to place more stock in nurture over nature. I believe in a proper cleanse twice a day. I'm pretty loyal to the Clarisonic Sonic Radiance Cleansers."
Treatments I gave a try. "I'm actually sort of proud about the fact that I'm 41 and haven't used Botox or fillers—which I feel is proof that my routine works. I'm not saying I'd never [try it], but I think I can hold off a little while longer ...maybe until 50, who knows?
I get regular facials at Mario Badescu with Carmela. When I wanna razzle dazzle myself, I visit the Guerlain Spa at the Waldorf Astoria or the La Prairie Spa at The Ritz Carlton. I usually make a day of it and use the gym, sauna, etc.
I'm also newly devoted to ZIIP. It's a nano current device that helps to lift and sculpt facial contours. It also does a kick ass acne clearing program that has changed the state of my hormonal chin. Right now, I see the biggest improvements in banishing acne. I also use the Nuface Trinity Facial Toning Device with the Wrinkle Reducer Attachment ($220) for the treatment of wrinkles."
Biggest skin care regret. "I regret every single pimple I've ever picked and failed."

Products I swore by in my twenties. "In addition to exfoliating regularly, I started using retinol after college. RoC products were such an affordable option in my 20s. I’ve since upgraded to Arcona Vitamin A Serum. I also started using sunscreen religiously! Back then it was probably Aveeno, but I currently love BeautyCounter and Tarte."
Treatments I gave a try. "In my twenties, I got an occasional facial but mostly did them at home using fruit enzyme peels and mud masks. "
Biggest skin care regret. "Being a sun-worshipper. I played a lot of tennis and golf growing up and was one of those girls who laid out schmeared with [tanning oil]. I finally got smart in my early 20s but have been undoing the damage ever since!"

Products I swore by in my twenties. "I dabbled a bit here and there in my twenties with [brands like] Clinique, Kiehl’s, and pharmacy finds like Cetaphil and Seabreeze. I had a love affair with St. Ives Apricot Scrub ($10)! I didn’t really start taking care of my skin until I was in my 30s. Now, I'm drinking lots of water, eating clean, and have an obsessive interest in skincare products."
Treatments I gave a try. "I have had only 3 or 4 facials in my whole life. Not going to lie though, I have friends who get treatments in moderation like Botox and chemical peels and they look incredible and natural. It’s definitely something I would consider down the road."
Biggest skin care regret. "Too many tanning beds, not enough sunscreen."
