This Energising Acai Bowl Will Help You Survive Hump Day

Eating healthfully for an entire week can feel like a huge task. Things can seem totally do-able at the start of the week, but then a little thing called hump day happens and kicks us off course. There are ways to make it easier (like hacking our breakfasts or snacking smart), but how are we supposed to resist a Starbucks Gingerbread Frappuccino when we're feeling tired and taking the healthy route inevitably gets boring? Our experience tells us that having easy—and delicious—fall-back options can sometimes be the only thing standing between us and a bucket of coffee when we’re in need of energy. Especially on a Wednesday.

Makes 1 serving. 

Ingredients

2 sachets Amazonia Organic Frozen Acai Smoothie Packs

100ml coconut water

½ large frozen banana, sliced

¼ avocado

1tsp chia seeds

1tsp Amazonia Raw Workout

1tbsp Amazonia Raw Fermented Vanilla Lucuma Paleo Protein

7 Brazil nuts

1tbsp shredded coconut

1 slice lime

½ passionfruit

Break the frozen acai into small pieces and add to a blender, along with coconut water, banana, avocado, chia seeds, Raw Workout and Fermented Paleo Protein powders.

Blitz until smooth and creamy, then pour into a bowl.

Top with nuts, coconut, lime and passionfruit to serve.
