Olympic runner Emma Coburn made it all the way to the racetrack on Monday, August 16, before she realised, "Oh, sh*it, I don't have a hair tie."

With long, waist-grazing blonde hair, Coburn was not prepared to compete in the 3,000-metre steeplechase, which requires competitors to clear hurdles and pockets of water, without one.

In a turn of events that's almost too good to be true, Coburn was saved by none other than Evan Jager, a fellow Olympic runner well known for his commitment to the man bun. (Feast your eyes here.)
