How to Re-Create Burberry's S/S 16 Runway Makeup Look

A naturally sculpted face is every beauty girl's Holy Grail. Burberry's S/S 16 runway was full of models sporting this enviable look and, lucky for us, our friends at Sephora have shown us how to recreate it with the help of Burberry's Artistic Makeup Consultant Wendy Rowe. Rowe, who has been creating beauty looks for Burberry for the last 15 years, says: "The skin was all about highlights and shadow falling in to the shape of your face." In other words, a subtle or wearable version of contouring and highlighting.

To recreate this luminious look, Rowe started by contouring using Burberry's Face Contour Pen ($55). She then applied the versatile product to the model's cheeks, nose and under her jawline to sculpt the face. Next, Rowe used Burberry's Sheer Concealer ($60) as a highlighter, dabbing it on cheekbones, down the nose, at the Cupid's bow, and at the inner eye to create a dreamy, candlelit look. (We also like Maybelline's Dream Lumi Concealer, $18, to get the same glowy effect.) Rowe finished by dusting on a light powder foundation, skipping any heavy contouring products.
