The Only Beauty Products Worth Buying This Month
March is here, and just like that, it's autumn again. (At this rate, it'll be December next week—I'm scared.) With the change in season comes as good an excuse as any to shake up your beauty kit. Suddenly sick of coconut body scrubs and super-dark fake tan? Us too. As the weather cools, we're reaching for both the obvious (wine-hued lipstick, matte foundation), and the less so (buttery lip balms and restorative serums). Take advantage of the rainy days to come by giving your beauty cupboard a good once over and sussing out what you need now. If there's one thing about autumn that never fails to get me excited, it's that a downswing in beach days tends to correlate with an upswing in pamper time. Ahead you'll find my edit of the best on shelf this month.

Giorgio Armani Power Fabric Longwear High Cover Foundation ($99)
While cult base Luminous Silk (aka the single most flattering foundation of all time) is forever my bae, it recently went into temporary storage. Why? Because this newbie from Giorgio Armani is all I care about right now. It blurs imperfections (I've stopped using concealer), and delivers a matte but luminous finish.
MAC Lip Scrubtious in Summer Berry ($33)
I have had the driest lips in existence since I made friends with Roaccutane a decade ago. Balms help, (especially this one), but regular exfoliation works wonders. This lip scrub is made from sugar, plus shea butter and grapeseed oil, so it nourishes as well as smooths.
St Tropez Gradual Tan Tinted Lotion ($34)
I never thought I'd see the day I fell in love with an instant bronzer, but here we are. Miles away from everything else in the category (see: streaky, sparkly, fake), it's subtle and seamless. Plus, it contains gradual tanner, so the colour lasts even after you wash it off.
Elizabeth Arden Advanced Ceramide Capsules Daily Youth Restoring Serum ($140)
These reformulated single-dose capsules are even better than their predecessors. Now with extra reparative, moisturising and anti-ageing ingredients, they're all you need to turn back the clock.
