Being the owner of a truly radiant complexion (not one tricked up with highlighting creams and powders) is more achievable than you might think. Teresa Cutter, chef, fitness trainer and founder of The Healthy Chef, says the secret is simple but not necessarily easy. “Boosting your intake of fruit and vegetables is key—it feeds your skin with glow-giving antioxidants.”
Unfortunately, life can get in the way of even the best laid eating plans (especially on busy mornings), so we asked Cutter to whip us up a breakfast recipe full of anti-ageing ingredients, that’s both fast and foolproof.
Her Anti-Ageing Smoothie Bowl is packed with the aforementioned antioxidants, and you can throw it together in five minutes flat. Bonus: it also contains protein and healthy fats which do wonders for the rest of your body, helping to lower cholesterol and blood pressure, improve sleep, concentration and reduce stress.
